Boiler plant in Světlá nad Sázavou

In autumn 2008, after Bohemia Glass factory shut down the TEDOM Energo company was entrusted by the Energy Regulatory Office to operate a boiler plant of glass factory to guarantee heat supply to citizens of Světlá nad Sázavou. During the following couple months the plant was putting into operation and a plant “Na Bradle” was subsequently innovated. Since 1.5.2009 the plant fully replaced the heat supply from the Sklo Bohemia a.s. company.

Emission Reductions of CO2 due to Cogeneration

The combined production of electricity and heat generated in CHP units running on natural gas as well as the electricity production from renewable energy resources provide a significant emission reduction of CO2 compared to the separate production. Annually TEDOM company, as an operator of CHP units burning natural gas and landfill gas, save almost 250.000 tons of CO2 compared to the standard electricity production in the Czech Republic. If we were able to sell all these emissions at the price of CO2 allowances (which is currently about 20 EURO per ton) then we could achieve financial savings of 5 mil EUROS. More details about CO2 reductions of each plants are available

Reduction of CO2 Emission Level by CHP units

TEDOM CHP units significantly participate in reduction of CO2 emission level due to technology of combined heat and power generation and a high efficiency of primary fuel transformation. When we compare the average annual electricity generation from all sold TEDOM CHP units with the same amount of electricity generated in coal-fired power plant then the annual reduction of CO2 emission achieves 4.413.275 tons.

Biogas plant in Suchohrdly

The new biogas plan was put into operation in Suchohrdly close to Miroslav. The TEDOM s.r.o. was the general supplyer of plant. This project is a agricultural biogas plant for processing slurry and corn silage. The plant construction was started in April 2007, the technology istallation was finished at the beginning of  August. The starting up phase of biogas plant was demanding on time process, likely this phase was finished without any problems. At the beginning of November the TEDOM company was able to fulfill all project parameters and the plant is running with nominal output.

Basic parameters of project:
Fermenters: 2 x 1500 m3
Final reservoir: 4300 m3
Batch of substrate: tank 80 m3, sludge dispenser 2 x 16 m3
Cogeneration: TEDOM Cento 2 x 170 SP bio (2 x 165 kWel.)
